Hi from Spain.

Approximately 3 or 4 years, my dreamcast died for using too much the region changer without removing the welds.

Some years later and insurance that more people have happened this problem, I ask if someone found a simple way to solve it.

My knowledge of electronics is very basic, my first idea was to install a modchip, but is hard to find and im not sure that it solves it.

Hi. In your case, will only replace flashrom from other dc.

Hi, with the new multibios mod, i could remplace the original bios with a dreamshell bios flashed? could i run region changer and try to rewrite flashrom?
or there are a bios that doesnt need flashrom info and i can use in retail dreamcast.

(what name of bios i should use in both case?) (I could use sd if necessary)

I have other dreamcast but i want to repare this dreamcast.

Yes, you can try it, if you flashed - "DreamShell loader with bios".
