Does DC bios checksum itself when DC boot up ?
I got a DC-DEV bios file,and translate it japanese to Chinese.
To test it in emu,work well.
But when i flash it to mx29lv160, DC blackscreen a moment then freeze at logo.
if the checksum be sure,how to skip it ?
BTW: i have try to repair CRC32 to bios origine ,freeze too.
Original dev bios not work normally on DC. You need a hacked dev bios.

the origine dev-bios that i got could work on dc well.
but i change it's some words, be freeze.
today i have try 1_011_01_hacked.bios on dc,it could work well too.
but when i translate it....freeze too
so i wonder ,maybe bios booting up, have a check to itself.

Yes there is check in the BIOS. How to defeat it, I do not know. Bios hack I'm not engaged.

I found the dc bios included russian font, but i couldnot call them out. so ,i need a game exe file to learn calling code. maybe i could make bios show Russian Message.
In Russia DC games are not translated official, it makes the pirates. I do not think you'll find there link to the bios.
Unfortunately I do not have to hand the game. Wait a little,You will get it from anyone else.

there are two way that DC game to show Russian.
1. direct calling out bios inside fonts
2. game inculded a single fonts inside some file
IF you have many Russian game ,please send the 1st files to me ,As possible
the game calling out bios fonts,is helpful for me~

i found the dc bios some block have been compressed. when i touch the TEXT AREA with SH4 CODES,my dc be freezen in swire.
who have some software to Release OR Extract the compressed part ?
