I wanted to use brush-less motor cdrom unit on the Dreamcast but there is no way to control the motors easily. But you can use home DVD player unit easily anyways, it uses dreamcast gdrom like motors.

Is there any way to control the the pc cdrom busshless motor from the laser deck ?

To connect a DVD instead of the GD-ROM, you need to make a device that will convert the signals from DVD-ROM into the signals GD-ROM.

Yeah a DVD is a good idea.

its possible to connect brush motor from cd-rom !

just look for diffirence in work betwen driver for brush motors and drivers for dbl-wire motors.
