Would like to flash the following custom bios on my dreamcast via Dreamshell:

Do I have to convert this bios in a special file, cause it's a bin file, whereas the bios of the dreamshell are recognized as "bios files" on my PC...cause of the ending bios?!
Or are they bin files too and i have just to add the ending bios?

The file extension is doesn't matter. All of this is a binary files. You can flash it.

how do i have to proceed to add this bios to the dreamshell ?

do i have to download "DreamShell 4.0 RC 3 + Boot Loader",
copy the bios to the "bios folder" and then create a cdi image of the DS folder (with or without loader)?

btw : with which utility/program i can create a cdi image?

You have HDD or SD mod?

HDD mod...i think i know how to perform this with a hdd.

DS + Loader
exchange DS_Core with the modified one, which allows you to boot from hdd
put bios into the bios folder of DS

but i would like to create a CD.

Just add your bios file to firmware/bios/sega or any other path on any device.
In application Bios Flasher you can browse all devices and any path's.

hello swat! which chip is better to make the dual bios mod? for more support? dreamshell folders update also improves compatibility? modules etc.

MX29LV160 for VA1 motherboard.
Not understand other questions.
