You do not need to perform this mod anymore. Just make the usual dual bios mod and use one of these bootloader bioses. You'll be able to boot Dreamshell OS directly from HDD or SD.

I don't know what you meant about "DMA" here.

Til i know the default transfer mode of HDD mod be just PIO mode, these squematics be like i do undestand to unlock the DMA mode (Direct Access Memory) more faster and with more compatibility than mode pio.. but this is the point the games will run faster and many more games now will work..

Blocks not only DMA, blocks all IDE interface, including PIO too.
