Question about rips and DS.
I see in iso pack "cdi to iso bat", that's really nice.
But here is the problem. some rips use different name for 1read.bin. And then DS can't boot it. Then you need do manually and tediously repack rip.
Is it possible to somehow tell DS different name for 1read.bin?

It's really easy accessible, all info is in iso header.
Maybe DS could read this header at boot up, and then determine 1read.bin name?
Or maybe when converting cdi, nrg etc to iso, script could create boot info file with that info. Then at game load time, if that file is present, DS could read it. That would reduce unnecessary iso checking for each game.
The boot binary name gets from IP.BIN and if ISO doesn't have IP.BIN it's tried to use 1ST_READ.BIN by default.
cdi2iso.bat doesn't touch IP.BIN, it's should works if ISO can be mounted in DS core.
Good to know. I will know now how to fix problem.
Some rips are problematic.

I mean not all rips have ip.bin in iso part, only in boot part. Then again, not many use different name than 1ST_READ.BIN, but there are some.
Also you can easy rename boot file name to 1ST_READ.BIN and it's should works too. If it is not a 0WINCEOS.BIN, it's a specific file name.
