Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, 18 wheeler and other Games in GDI does not work in these ide 2.5.

For those interested, in this video there is noticeable game-play lag in street fighter(when doing some moves ) *with IDE*, and no lag with SATA.

This is strange to me, as i always thought that ide is the best way for DC.
Maybe ide is bad? I had similar problem, with one IDE i hag game-play lags, with another everything was silky smooth.

Swat, could you explain this? It does not mater if its cdi or iso, i thougt IDE is the way to go.

And i'm using 2.5 ide.
with one 2.5 ide i had lag, with another - no. For specifics, it's sonic 1 game, gdi optimized.

If you get new IDE and SATA HDD with the same specs, you get IDE working little faster than SATA.
By interface, IDE better for DC, because it's a native interface and works without any adapters that can give some dalays.
But if you get very old and slow IDE HDD and compare it with new fast SATA HDD, result can be different

HDD has different specs (cache memory, rotor speed, software, etc) and different age (IDE no longer produced it's all old).
