The game - the lost golem. Only in bin format.
bin2iso then 4rc2 SD, isoloader settings: boot from ip.bin (default mem) - works.
On 4rc3 and 4rc4, when i select converted iso file, DS hangs up, every time.
Copied files from bin. Ip.bin and 1st_read.bin are present.
Used hacklba.bat(everything went good), created iso. Does not work. DS goes to black screen.
If not hacked, DS reboots.
What's the problem? How to create good iso?
Original is GDI format? Use optimize_gdi.bat from ISO Make Pack.

I just want to understand, why bin2iso works,
and manually copying then hacking lba, does not.
Maybe i need to hack lba with different parameters? Default is 45000 and there are different, 17000 or something.
It's only bin file, no cue. This bin is 518M, it's from utopia era, as at time games where only bin.
Emuparadise has that game in GDI and CDI format under the name "Golem no Maigo". Give it a try.
I managed to run bin2iso.bat converted bin in 4rc4. I had to create shortcut with appropriate settings (boot from ip.bin) on desktop.
Converted game with bin2iso.bat on 4rc3 and 4rc4, when selecting this *iso file in isoloader*, DS breaks, reboots. Every time.
The thing is i want to understand, why using bin2iso.bat works, and manually converting bin to iso does not? I don't need exact answer. Could you give some guesses?
As i said, maybe i need to hack lba in different way? But if i don't hacklba at all, DS just reboots, if i hack lba, DS goes to black screen. So does that mean that lba is hacked correctly?
I'm planing to test more bin,cdi games that don't have gdi. Some hack, etc. It's interesting for me.
For example mars_matrix.cdi rdc release did't have 1st_read.bin. And after manually converting to iso it did't work in DS.
But actually it does have 1st_read.bin, it's just named differently. It's name is written in ip.bin. So i renamed that to 1st_read.bin, hacked and now this iso is working perfectly.
Just get anoter format of image.
Seems your ".bin" from BIN/CUE format, it's not a raw data track from GD disc. Utility bin2iso (as optimize_gdi) used for cleaning raw data tracks, it's just remove some unused data from every sector, nothing more, format doesn't changed in general.
