Hello,

I've successfully gotten Dreamshell working and I've dumped a few games. Right now I'm looking at the Hydro Thunder dump I've made and it's got the following files in the folder:


I'm hoping to get these over to a .cdi file to be played on a Dreamcast emulator such as NullDC or Demul, but I've found nothing that will give me instructions on how to do that. Thanks.

Also, I'm fully aware that I can just download these games off the web, but I'm looking to dump my own games.

Demul fine work with this GDI, NullDC don't know, need tests

If I wanted to package it as a .cdi would you be able to point me in the right direction?

CDI for play on EMU or for write on CD?

To play on emu.

GDROM-Explorer for unpack
Lazyboot for create CDI

P.S. you can't create CDI with CDDA
P.P.S not all game work after rebuilding
P.P.P.S for EMU use GDI, is better, CDI need for write to disc

Is there a single file that I can compress the .GDI dump into easily?

no, easy way not found
CDI is not compressed image, this is image with low quality sound and video
