For the moment,if I create a GDI file (disc.gdi),what should I put inside to launch the ISO?

For extract the ip.bin from the cdi I use ip extractor

I see often 11702 what is the difference with 45000 lba ?

Supported filenames for CDDA tracks for GDI/ISO (index for example):

just asking a new time for the difference when I saw 11702 and 45000lba ? and how calculate it with cdda games without burning a cd with cdrecord tool, Even if lazy boot do the job.
it's really hard for me to tell the difference between the two...

GDI can be only with lba 45000
name of audio tracks started from track04.xxx
xxx - wav, raw or raw.wav

When you use the echelon method with burning a cd you have to binhack the ip.bin and 1st_read. at the end of cdda and after mkisofs and you create an .iso
It's an iso compatible dreamshell ?

RAW and WAV it's the same.
WAV it's a RAW with header for describe PCM stream format. For CD it standart - 16bit stereo PCM 44kHz.
ISO Loader apply it for RAW by default.

Yes, but I recommend hack LBA to zero.

Yes of course.
I success to convert the .cdi version of F355 challenge with rear view and 16/9 widescreen hacks.

The binhack change only (and it's already great !) the 1ST_READ.BIN and IP.BIN but sometimes the start lba is also write in others .bin of the game.

Now I understand better, I wish to try that with some cdda games :-)
I try to build a gdi from a cdda homebrew, I binhack at 45000 with BINHACK. I try to run and I have "error CD/GD is not an ISO9660" in isoloader

I'm note sure about my ip.bin, what was I do wrong ?

My ip.bin doesn't have TOC at the begining, it's important ? When I binhack it, a lot of data are replaced by 0x00 like the MR image and others thing, I try to binhack it manually at 45000lba replacing the start lba after list of compability zones (US, JAP, and EURO).

The hombrews works only in .iso and not in .cdi.

So probably I have to opt my gdi.
I descramble the 1ST_READ.BIN and I BINHACK at 45000lba, for ip.bin I copy the boot area from an other game (evil twin) because the BINHACK remove a lot of things and replace them by 0x00... and the game don't boot.

The gdi of my homebrew run ! Only with sdcard mod but it run :-) Unfortunately the cdda doesn't works anyway... the cdda lba is reading only from disc.gdi or I have to change something elsewhere ?
I patch my gdi homebrew in order to play it with hdd and try to use the dma for cdda.
Same result black screen at the first cdda call.

Two issues left, I did something wrong for cdda in ip.bin or/and 1ST_READ.BIN or dreamshell can't play it for now.

There is somethnig to do in particular in those file when you have cdda ?
Sometimes black screen because you have CDDA...try without CDDA before for know if the game WORKS in IDE Wink

And after try with CDDA.
