I try to find why games work in SD+CDDA and with IDE+CDDA don't boot,blackscreen !
Maybe change .raw in .wav..?
But after need to change .gdi...just replace .raw..in.wav?
Or what is the best solution?

ISO Loader from IDE used DMA for CDDA playback.
It does not matter whether it is enabled or not for data. I think the problem in DMA.
Ok... because a lot of game have this problem..and when I see it works in SD..for me it's juste crazy ^^
It may be possible to switch between dma and PIO mode for cdda with IDE mod in the iso loader config menu ?

Nope. But it's possible to do in future.

I think I need generally fix DMA and then will see remaining issues.
To be more precise, I think DMA works fine, but it seems that the games don't like when I use it. Need to understand the reason.
something I really don't understand, may need help from expert advice...
my last bios mod g1ata HDD 80gb system: region japan (I believe), piggyback bios nogdrom, DS RC4 played well and no problems with games: Radirgy, Triggerheart Excelica, Space Channel 5 Part 2 (those reported not working by dragoncity)
now the system after playing Sturmwind failed, seemed like overheated: when switched on Dreamshell opening animation flickered with slow motion (music normal so both not in sync anymore), after animation ended then freezed, no idea how to fix...[attached clip to show the problem, any ideas on how to fix are welcome]
my second system is the same as first, but I believe it was a PAL board and used region changer mod, I used region changer 1.85 and found region - Japan, broadcast - NTSC, Language - English, I made the region changer mod and changed the Language to Japan
this system before and after the region changer mod did not work with the games (as above) that worked in my first system, I just don't understand...
are there other differences between PAL board and Japanese board which region changer cannot change, or some codes which are presented in Japanese board but not in PAL board to make Dreamshell work with games in one system but not the other?

do you have a program to check the bios (firmware) version (for official bios)?
I understand there are several official bios versions, I want to see the difference that works better with dreamshell... (as in post#8)
It's possible to import the bios ?
dreamshell don't use the official bios for me. Just configure the dreamcast in region mode (eur, pal or us) There are others things ?
@swat : I don't know if the other system like gdemu run all games in dma. But with dreamshell the PIO run well the cdda as we can see in the sdcard reader. So adding the cdda set in PIO in ide mod will be probably an issue for all games running with cdda in sd card and not in ide mod...
With ide mod dreamshell in PIO is faster for loadings than gdemu ! You can see it on youtube with soldier of fortune for example, so if some games don't like DMA we can easy forgive them ;-)

Bios Flasher application help you. It can read firmware from all chips and write to additional flash chip.

I tried several times, bios flasher -> Read -> [save path], and then the screen went dark with lines of numbers and "reboot in 10 seconds"
there is a file in SD card [save path]... backup_2018-09-XX_XX-XX-XX.bios - zero in size
sega chip is not supported? this is what I asked in post #9,

Maybe the data bus is not good enough, even with a sega bios. You have the same thing with an other dreamcast ?
