Would it be possible to implement widescreen patching into DreamShell? Manually patching every game is a bit of a pain. It would be great to have an option right before booting each game like this:

SELECT ASPECT RATIO:
__________ ___________
|FULL (4:3) | |WIDE (16:9)|

You could even add an option in settings to default to one or the other so it won't prompt you every time.

Anyway, just an idea. I'm not sure how easy or difficult this would be to implement but it would be a fantastic feature.
it's don't possible. Widescreen it's not hardware registr. All games have individual settings.
In feature i'm add cheat engine to loader 0.7.0, but for some games, hex patches give better results than codebreaker codes

Would it not be possible to detect what game it is and apply the correct patch? A cheat features sounds great though! Smile
if add many patches and dtabase it's possible
need create database with games and hex patchs for this games
for games whera need patch not 1ST_READ it's don't possible

The other thing you could do is have the user add a text document (e.g. widescreen.conf) to the game's GDI folder with the correct hex code. The loader can check for this file before booting the game. If it finds it, it will ask you if you want to patch the game for widescreen. A little more work for users but it would be easier for you.
Maybe it's possible to preset the codebreaker code ? It will be more simple because for each games the widescreen hacks is such different.

for few games HEX patch work better
