Hello
I have a Dreamcast with dual-bios-mod, SD mod and HDD Mod.
Would like to use Dreamshell without GD Rom drive, so I have to flash one bios chip with sd_loader-with bios and put the DS folder on the SD card?!

use boot_loader_devkit_nogdrom.bios or boot_loader_retail_nogdrom.bios

If i use boot_loader_devkit_nogdrom.bios or boot_loader_retail_nogdrom.bios most games won't work arcordingto the following list

There is mentioned: "This list now can be used by BIOS mod users, most of games works with sd_loader_with.bios by the new boot modes."?!

without GD Rom drive HDD work only with *_nogdrom.bios
With sd_loader_with.bios the compatibility is worse

So there is no chance/way to get the same compatibility without GD Rom as in the list?!

If for example my laser dies and i want toplaygames from HDD...
O.K. sd_loader_with.bios has bad compatibility ... *_nogdrom.bios has better compatibility (?!) but not as good as e.g. japanese cake bios?!
So in order to get best posible compatibility i cannot ommit GD Rom?

japanese cake bios need for play games from GD-ROM
all bootloader bios need for load DreamShell from HDD or SD
GD Rom is 100% compatibility
SD is ~80% compatibility
HDD is ~90% compatibility

The matter is just if I have Dreamshell on CD or on HDD?!
And if I work with DS from CD it doesn't matter if i have e.g.japanese cake bios or link83 bios ?!

It doesn't matter what you boot from. The problem only in sd_loader_with.bios
