Dual bios issue - Toe-Knee - 05.06.2018 22:41

Hi guys.

Recently my dual bios install is having issues.

Every now and then the dc doesn't boot its just a black screen. Switching back to the stock bios is fine and the next boot will be fine on the dreamshell bios.

When it's having issues of I try to flash the new bios again it errors when writing around 5-6% with error code 5.

I'm currently away from home so can't get photos or check anything but any ideas for when I'm home are welcome.

I'm suspecting maybe an intermittent connection somewhere?

Thanks guys
Looking forward to future DS updates.

check well, the welds on the feet, and also those of the awg cable. A similar thing happened to me, I solved by replacing the bios that was fried.

I forgot to update this.

It was one of the wires going to the switch that had come loose. I did them a little too short as I like to keep things tidy but it must have pulled away when I was reassembling.

All sorted now. Thanks for the reply.
