ooga booga had always worked for me or at least from 0.7.0. I'm on ide hdd. also, I'm only playing on RGB SCART so that also may have some influence

Alone in The Dark works at 0x8c000100 + boot from IP.BIN. In low-level works again too btw.
Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 works at 0x8c000100 + heap behind the loader
Tony Hawk 2 works at 0x8c000100 + heap behind the loader

It definitely saved. I double-checked it afterwards. I also made the same change with NFL 2K2 and it didn't play the intro when I did it with that, just an immediate black screen.

I'll be getting a replacement for the Transcend CF as it was still under warranty so I'll be able to test again with that soon. Would love to get the Sandisk fully working though as it's a more reliable brand.

I wouldn't rush it. There is definitely some other difference in compatibility among those who are testing.
But there is a possibility that some devices process command aborting differently.

No, they don't boot even with low-level or the 0.7 loader.

In this case, the behavior of devices is indeed different when the command is aborted. I’m not sure that this can be fixed, it’s usually not used like that, this is exactly the case of DC.

For me you should focus on others issues.
We'll still have the 0.6.11_se loader, not a big deal.
It's maybe due to disc rotation that the games boot haha.

Just an idea, if you remove the sq functions, a lite loader may manage cdda dma for UT ?

what the DEVs have achieved is something incredible I remember a few years ago tried on my Dreamcast was the first time i had tried modding my Dreamcast and the games i still remember because is a game i play yet a lot is Virtual Tennis 2 with Dreamshell 4.0 our 3.0 i can't remember the version but the game had stuttering back then now runs flawless

Just because the actual 0.8 doesn't boot atomiswave and tom jam &earl 3, ooga booga, 2k series etc on my system for now. For those games pack (TJ&E etc...) it's maybe due to my CF card size at 128Go. If I remember well you are using a smaller one, it's maybe the issue. We know the best sd card for gdemu is not beyond 32Go.

I'm also waiting for the sata to ide converter that @Crismod mentioned, we'll see if it's more compatible.

It was a terrible efficient one too, reading atomiswave, most of wince games, and cdda TMU 2 has no distorsions even if the cdda loop was not include. Yeah I keep it in mind, even if it's not compatible with RC5 the last time I tried it.
You work so hard on loaders, it's normal there are some fantastic ones that complete the last wonderful release Smile

It's one of dreamshell strength, every user can selected is stuff, nowhere we can see that Cool

I thought about that because the flinstones game (seems operating very close than UT) sometimes run, sometimes not probably due to also the size of the loader. I'm very confident in your work, a cdda loader without sq should be the issue for UT.
When you'll have time for this, I saw you are working with @megavolt on some new unseen content in others ode system Cool

I use SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB 160 MB/s UDMA 7.
All these games that you listed working fine for me, including Atomiswave.
Also @megavolt85 tested these games on IDE HDD and it's fine too.

The loader 0.6.1 doesn't have IRQ support so they uses more memory for CDDA buffer, high memory btw in fixed place. But I think I understand what you mean, because I implemented the heap so we could lose some good cases. If the game cleanup the memory at startup and we should use high memory for heap because CDDA buffer is big (IRQ disabled or loader at 4000+). If the heap placed in high memory and game reset this memory, so the loader is dead too, and doesn't matter if binary is untouched, in the heap stored all the states. Hmm I'll think about this situation.
In theory, solution of this can be useful for Looney Tunes. This game working on 0.6.1?

Merry Christmas guys, I don't show up these past weeks, because I have a new toy called "Asus Rog Ally" that I'm modding and experiment different things around with it almost the time Smile. I hope you all are well and so nice and amazing that SWAT and others still fix Dreamshell .

Thank you very much for releasing new ISO loader!
A few days ago, I miraculously repaired my dreamcast(It required microsoldering some of broken wire on the white coating..) and tested some game in the ISO Loader 0.8.x Beta RC5.

All the game listed below don't need to enable CDDA emulation.

EVE ZERO,KAEN SEIBO:0x8cfe8000 DMA true,16, heap behind the loader
PRINCESS HOLIDAY:0x8c004000,0x8cfe8000 DMA true,16 heap behind the loader
FIRST KISS STORY2:not working(displaying now loading and then permanently black screen... :0x8cfe8000 DMA true, heap behind the loader)
SAKURA WARS3:In battle mode frequently freezing or suddenly passover next phase
0x8cc00000 DMA true heap behind the loader

- Added DreamEye capture support
- Added simple DreamEye app with capture tests
- Core fixes and KallistiOS update.

BTW is someone don't known, but FTP is partially working, just need set limit number of simultaneous connections to 1 for DC connection in FileZilla (look for transfer settings)
You can browse and download from DC, but can't upload to DC yet.
