this game only runs if loader 0.7.0 or 0.8 in low-level no cdda

This mode support only ISO and GDI images

works for me with many settings

DMA true async and without DMA emu async 16
Binary OS: KATANA (this is mandatory otherwise the game won't load)
you can not enable IRQ hooking, if you enable the game does not load
Emulate CDDA audio, it doesn't matter if it's enabled or not, the game works, but there is no CDDA

I'll try 'this is strange to me, really must be obligatory if katana? I left it on automatic. However I have problems I had to put away because of space, as soon as I happen to use these settings. Thank you

I tested this game in GDI-Opt in DS RC4 Dreamcast NTSC-US with HDD IDE (as always) only preset I changed is to Loader 9 and seems to work fine....
