I newer knew you are using usa bios. I always thought at least you are using pal console and bios.

Fast boot just disabling info on screen at loader startup (initialization, loading, executing and disc image). It's doesn't affect compatibility. But give little faster startup.

The first I check true async DMA with default address. Second I check addr 0x8c000100 and 0x8cfe8000. If doesn't boot, disable true async, if still not, disable DMA. If doesn't boot, I just test next game
Seems some games (last games) checks the region code, so in this case can help the region changer mod.
