Edit boot swirl colour

Hi,

Is there anyway to edit the bios files in DS using a hex editor to change the boot swirl colour?

i've found info on what to change for .bin files but nothing for .bios

I don't want to open up my DC again as the GD rom is getting very finicky and has to be seated just right to work. I had to spend about half an hour reseating it yesterday after piggybacking the bios and i've got it working again now so Id rather not up it up again if it can be helped.
