I'm not getting any different results with the new track01.iso file and isoldr_v0.6.11_beta_se. It's kind of random. Sometimes it will just black screen and other times it will start to boot but black screen after the intro movie. It's the same with both the original and new track01. Tested with both NBA 2K2 and Floigan Bros..

Yes in fact track01 is just for nba 2k2.
If I take track01 of fanhais release and I put in my release nba 2k2 us work...this is strange !
But not the solution for other game.

Ah I see. Did you use 0x8c004000 + DMA + True Async? I used these same settings but none of the VC games boot for me. ToeJam and Earl III works though.
I have a message track03 failed for NBA 2k2 and tj&E3...
And recv... In fact each i'm using 0.6.11_se
Extrem sport no cdda but game is running.
Zia with 0.6.11_alt i Can reach screen title but game freeze at new game probably when cdda start.
Good for skies of Arcadia !
Not sure about synchro sound after the usual freeze but it's very good !

This is weird but it works for me:
My friend gazu instructed me to follow these steps for NBA2K2 and get it working With the following configuration
0X8C004000
DMA ON
SYNC TRUE
1. Start the game with 0.6.11_alt wait a moment and restart the console
2. start the game with loader 0.6.11 wait a moment and restart the console
3. start the game with loader 0.6.11_se with memory 0XC8000100 wait a moment and restart the console
4. start the game with 0.6.11_se with memory 0XC804000 and there it should work.
5. If it does not work, then DMA you turn it OFF, start the game, wait a moment, restart the console and restart the game with DMA ON
6. Also with a combination of the above steps, it doesn't always work in the same order.
After the game starts for the first time, the following times it starts easier on the first or second try without modifying the settings.

It looks like a random boot. Need to get into a certain state of the hardware.

It shouldn't matter since the console restarts, however it's the only way that worked for me.
I also tried on a sata-sd adapter and NBA2K2 always works on the first try.
I have a original bios and it crashes after the intro.
@dragoncity and other of course, please try this version of Ooga booga repack in gdi with @Yzb (@kof888) 1ST_READ.BIN hack but original datas.
I refound my very old echelon hack cd and I have extracted the 1ST_READ.BIN but I can't binhack it at 45000lba as usual...
skies of arcadia and resident evil code don't run perfectly with true DMA, maybe it's possible to reach it definitively with unfragemented datas as a true gdrom ?
Don't know, just thinking about 0.7.x loaders.

Probably need to optimize and try both OS auto and hombrew.
view_point only worked on the sd without music. CDDA on kof97gdi only worked on ide with wave tracks using isomaker2.3.
cave_story does not work on sd nor ide, I tested with several loaders.
