Ok I try with Region Changer 1.5 > Backup Flash...but doesn't work...

why read bios...it's the flashrom...? o_O

So this is the bios I read with bios flasher :

backup_1998-11-27_01-03-27.bios

it's ver. 1.004 , this bios don't use region from flashrom for regional check

Ok so what is the solution for change in Europe?

replace BIOS

I want just change the region for Dreamshell..is it possible to have just the Bios Dreamshell and Europe?

dreamshell don't use region

Ok for be sure.. I change the bios (remove SEGA) with freebios.

After the swirl is Blue ? o_O

Because I need the region Europe for best compatibility with dreamshell

after change BIOS chip you can change region via Region Changer

If I change the bios and after use region changer I will have Europe,right?

create BIOS mod -> write jc-bootROM -> remove MPR-21068 (original BIOS)

In fact there is better we can directly with DS BIOS ^^

So I tested :

Change Bios with jc-bootROM > region changer > PERFECT and Blue Swirl !

After I tested

Change Bios with Dreamshell No-Gdrom > region changer > PERFECT and Blue Swirl !

And in Region Changer Europe > PAL > French

So Dreamshell Bios or Jc Bios I can change region !!

Need to connect pin 23 to IC302 Pin1 for VA0...

But I tested without,and work... so why?

for va0 use MX29F1610 is 5v chip

I use MX29LV160CTMC,and no problem without connect pin 23 to IC302 Pin1,so it's normal?

many people kill MX29LV160 on VA0 board, you were just lucky that the chip is still alive

I used 10 Mx29lv160 on Va0..no problem.. o_O
