the flat ribbon cable of your link is reasonable price. and I think 6cm length would be more suitable than 10cm,Because length of GD-ROM's original flat ribbon cable is 7cm and I noticed that if length of flat ribbon cable is more than 7.5cm, laser lens cannot read the most outer space of CD-R or GD media.

If length of flat ribbon cable is 10cm,then surplus length of ribbon cable(3cm) would get in the way of laser lens to reach the outermost position.
