Then it seems Shenmue 1 is simply not compatible with CF-Card?

Shenmue 1 and 2 works for me from CF card with connected GD-ROM
GD-ROM spinning I fix later. Already known issue and it doesn't affect games.
Maybe not enough a power? If the drive spins up, it consumes more. But this is a hardware problem, not a loader. How about other games?

Edit: Also tested 4 Wheel Thunder. It has the same issue as Monaco Grand Prix where the game freezes when a track ends.

Edit 2: Tested Stunt GP. It has the same problem it had on previous loaders which is the music being distorted.

Edit 3: Tested Mortal Kombat Gold. Works perfectly! I let the music play on a practice stage for 10+ minutes and it had no distortion and the tracks looped fine. Used all default settings with IRQ.

No special settings for it.
I tested only one game, I will check other.
