Is this 2.5 IDE to SD adapter compatible with dreamshell?

I have seen many guides on using dreamshell with an IDE hard drive, or a sata hard drive with an adapter. Some of the mods are even soldered to the GD_ROM pcb board.

But about a year ago i saw a video on PS2 slim (some models) can be hacked to have this type of adapter soldered, which makes the ps2 slim work with an really smal SD card solution. the adapter is very small and thin.

so i would like to know if this adapter works with dreamshell too, i have seen no video of a mod using this adapter.

This will work like the SATA adapter. Or maybe even worse, it’s quite possible that it will be LBA28.

true! i think on the ps2 it also had a limit , but 128gb of space for me is good enough on the dreamcast. I think i will do the mod, i will also buy some female pin connectors that have 2mm pitch so i don't solder directly to the original pins. and i can just swap the sd card since sd cards are everywhere

Based on the description, this one should support LBA48.
