Hello !

Do you know if it's possible to change region (with Dreamcast Region Changer) on JAP VA0?

Because I tested,and nothing change...I read in forum this is not possible..but maybe now you have found a solution?

Because everywhere people say doesn't work..and I tested doesn't work..this make nothing.

what is chip instaled? make good photo of IC502

So I think if the flashrom is "MB8581-XX" it's not possible to change the region with "region changer".

In fact when I change the region and reboot,it does not matter...nothing.

Maybe this flashrom don't accept the change?

If your SYSTEM block unlocked (RW) you can change Country, Language, Broadcast and reset to default value

Your tool doesn't work,impossible to launch.

Last time same problem but launch after error message..but this time come back to file manager.

For the moment I tested,and many JAP V1 don't want to change the region..

may be problem with your archiver? you unpack flashrom_tool.elf.7z from archive?

I don't think it's that- do you test directly in your dreamcast?

yes, i'm unpack flashrom_tool.elf from flashrom_tool.elf.7z and put to HDD, load DS and run via fillemanager

I extract with Winrar and 7zip same thing,so not the archiver.

There is an error "_ITM_registerTMConeTable" is undefined.
